DR Congo is the second-largest country by area in Africa, after Algeria, and home to over 100 million people. Also known as Congo-Kinshasa, it is one of two central-African that have the same name (the other one is often referred to as Congo-Brazaville). Both countries share a border in part and are separated by The Congo river, the second-longest one on the continent. The river also runs through most of DR Congo, which also shares borders with the Central African Republic, South Sudan, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, Tanzania, Zambia and Angola.
