Europe, the 2nd smallest continent with an estimated population of 748 million people is the most developed continent in the world. It is largely surrounded by water and ranks as the most visited continent. There are 25 currencies in Europe across its 44 countries and other territories.

1. CFP Franc (XPF): the currency of 2 of the 5 French overseas collectivities and New Caledonia.
Denominations: 1, 2, 5, 10, 20, 50, 100 (coins), 500, 1000, 5000, 10000 francs.

The French overseas collectivities are French Polynesia🇵🇫 (capital: Papeete), Saint Barthelemy🇧🇱 (capital: Gustavia), Saint Martin/Sint Maarten🇸🇽 (capital: Marigot), Saint Pierre & Miquelon🇵🇲 (capital: Saint Pierre) and Wallis & Futuna🇼🇫 (capital: Mata Utu). New Caledonia🇳🇨 (capital: Nouméa) is a unique French collectivity (i.e. they have more autonomy than the other collectivities). With the exception of Saint Martin (English and Dutch), the official language of the collectivities is French.

The 5 French overseas collectivities are administered by France, but they have semi-autonomous status and are duly represented at the National Assembly, Senate, and Economic Council.
